The Diploma of Management really showed me the distinct differences
between management and leadership. I have also learned a lot about how
to provide my personal training clients with a high standard of customer
service to keep them coming back. Overall, I found the course was
great, especially Sean Stryker, who really made the classes interesting
and motivated me to use what I have learned.
- Daniele displayed professional lecturing and teaching skills required to expound knowledge to staff at MDI Radiology. Daniele was punctual in attending and concluded the course in a timely manner. Further, Daniele proved to be very helpful in assisting MIDI Radiology staff in answering their questions and consolidating concepts covered by the course content and by asking questions to bring out the knowledge required to improve management skills.

I have completed my Diploma of Management through Pollard and found it very beneficial. Pollard only uses quality trainers that have industry experience and know how to deliver training programs bringing their life experiences and skill sets into the training. Robyn and her team have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help small / medium sized businesses grow in today's times. - I am highly impressed with Pollard Institute’s methods of teaching. Having been affiliated with a few training organisations, I can comparatively state that Pollard’s high standards surpass that of any other. Every aspect of the delivery of the Diploma of Management Course was of utmost professionalism. The provision of extra help outside of class by Emma was exceptional. I am confident to recommend Pollard Institute to all!
- Simply put, I have found that their drive to achieving educational excellence, the efficiency of their business and most of all, their level of professionalism has been consistently at a level you would expect from a dynamic and high performing organisation.
- I was particularly impressed with the high standard of workbooks, manuals, and assignments. The information that was relayed via the classroom presentations, workbooks, and manuals was thorough and beneficial. I have completed my Diploma of Management, and intend to continue my studies with several of my staff, having enrolled in Pollard Institute’s Certificate III in Wholesale, Certificate IV in Customer Service, and Certificate IV in Front Line Management.
- I found the course to be extremely interesting and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive approach. Not only did I learn new skills and principals that I have since applied to my business, but I also further enhanced my existing skills and business philosophies. I found Pollard institute’s course catered well for my limited time constraints and feel that I have flourished as a business owner. My business is well on its path to achieving the goals that were set during my time completing this course.
- Learning how to budget and keep track of my finances is something that I have needed for quite a while, so it was really great to finally get that under control. I also picked up some strategies for managing employees once my business starts to grow a little more.
- What impresses me more than Pollard Institute's strong approach to getting the training message out to industry is their diligence in providing these programs to the smallest of small businesses. Pollard Institute from my experience is not just about enrolling big businesses and the easily convinced; they also engage trade businesses, who are generally never contacted about up-skilling.
- I own my own business and I am responsible for co-ordinating the entire work flow and performance. I have made some paramount changes to the way I run my company because of what I learned from taking my Diploma of Management Course. The course refined my management skills and the teachers were very good at educating me further on how to properly implement and apply new processes and procedures. It gave me more confidence in running my business and also helped me to have a positive outlook for the future.
- After 30 years in business, you learn what works and what doesn’t. I had some idea of what it takes to run and manage my own company in my mind, but the Diploma of Management really formalised the concepts for me. It put the things I already thought I knew into a logical sequence and helped me understand them better so I can now use them more effectively.

I have just completed my Diploma of Management through Pollard Institute and want to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our teacher, Daniele Lima was excellent in his approach and we had every opportunity to ask questions and make sure we understood each thing before moving onto the next. Daniele always had real life examples to tell us about which helped us understand things better. He was flexible with time and made the study enjoyable instead of a task. - For myself, it was more of a refresher course as I have been involved in senior management roles with various large global organisations (LeasePlan Australia and Mercedez-Benz Australia) over the past 20 years and have had sound grounding and training, I still achieved a great deal of value in applying the course directly to what I do on a day-to-day basis. It has enabled me to re-evaluate my team’s roles, goals, and better ways to conduct coaching, training and appraisals.
- I started the diploma in one role, and since have changed to a job in a completely different industry. The skills and strategies we learned definitely can be applied to basically any workplace, so I still bring my class manual into work with me to help me use all of the valuable things we discussed during the course.
